Zelenskyy is afraid of the danger if Ukraine loses its unity, defeat if the US cuts the money, 1,000 days after the start of the war.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy fears that it is “very dangerous” if his country begins to lose its unity as the conflict with Russia passes 1,000 days.
Fox News foreign correspondent Trey Yingst confronted Zelenskyy in an interview broadcast on Tuesday “Special Report,” asking how to end the Russia-Ukraine standoff after a thousand days.
After meeting Zelenskyy outside the front lines, Yingst asked Zelenskyy about the state of the war compared to its beginning. Zelenskyy noted that although the first days were very difficult, any movement now would depend on unity against Russia.
“I think that was a very difficult period, but now this time, this time depends, I think, on our unity in Ukraine, and I think that the most dangerous thing is if we lose the unity in Europe and, most importantly, the unity between Ukraine and the United States,” said Zelenskyy.
He stated that diplomacy is the only way to end the war, although he was reluctant that Russian President Vladimir Putin should participate in the negotiations.

“Isn’t it Putin who can’t take this decision to end this war?” Yingst asked.
“I am sure that, from today, it depends on Putin, really a lot. He can do that. He can be determined and end this war,” answered Zelenskyy. “But it also depends on the United States of America a lot. Putin is weaker than the United States of America. The President of the United States of America has power and authority and weapons, and he can lower the price of energy. By the way, I heard a signal in the media from President Trump that he is thinking about lowering prices in the price of energy resources, oil, and it needs to be done.”
Yingst followed up, “Are you optimistic that President-elect Trump will be able to persuade Putin to end the war?”
“It will not be easy, but I think, to use all the problems that the United States has, yes, he can. Because he is much stronger than Putin. He is stronger. The United States is stronger. The economy, he is stronger. The United States has a lot of influence,” answered Zelenskyy .

“If they are going to cut, I think we will lose. Yes, anyway, we will stay and we will fight. We have production, but it is not enough to succeed. And I think it is not enough to survive. But it will be, if such a choice will be an American choice, then we will decide what to do,” said Zelenskyy.
