Watch the stars of the squid game roll over season 2 fans

The first season of Squid game it was full of mysteries, twists, shocking revelations, and general shock—no wonder a lot hit Netflix hit series, including six Emmys and a historic nomination for Outstanding Drama Series for a non-English drama series. So it’s no surprise that fans are already speculating about what to expect when the show returns in December.

In a new video shared as part of Netflix’s ongoing Geeked Week, stars Lee Jung-jae (last season’s unlikely-but-unlikely-to-be-focused Seong Gi-hun), Lee Byung-hun (Front Man , of course the character still hides some big secrets), and Wi Ha-jun (the determined detective Hwang Jun-ho) pulls up a chair and answers fan opinions collected from viewers around the world.

Is it Squid game fan theories a common language that will unite us all? It’s totally possible!

Our favorite suggestions include:

  1. The second season will reveal more about the jumpsuit-wearing Squid Game crew from the first season, perhaps even showing the same events from their perspective. Wi Ha-Jun likes this theory, but… no.
  2. There is a special meaning behind the Squid Game contestants choosing a color envelope when recruited. Lee Byong-hung tells any fan that opinion: “I think you’re the only one who thought that.”
  3. Gi-hun will take revenge on the loan players who forced him to play this game in the first place. “Do you think that good-hearted Seong Gi-hun would do something to hurt others?”, Lee Jung-jae asks excitedly, as the photo shows his character crying cruelly to someone in the first season.

About the only solid information from the video is that there will be “a lot of new shows” in the second season, and “all Korean shows,” and “the second season is more exciting than all these ideas put together.” ” And, of course, the video introduces us Squid gamethree returning stars—all of whom are more likable in real life than the characters they play on the show.

New cast members for the second season include Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-uk, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, Jo Yu-ri, and Won Ji-an. We don’t know much about who they’re playing, just in case you want to sneak in a few more theories! (According to the video, neither Park nor Jo play the adult version of Gi-hun’s younger daughter.)

All will be revealed—or at least More it will be revealed; there is also a third and final season coming—when Squid game The second season hits Netflix December 26.
