Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has become a social media slur after he was caught on video struggling to load his gun during a hunt.

“Tim Walz says he’s ‘arms of war’ but he can’t load a gun? This guy is too weak. My little sister can beat him up. Ya gotta watch this,” country singer John Rich responded to the video.

These comments come after Vice President Kamala Harris attended an opening day rally in Minnesota, where Walz invited the media to cover the event.

But the Minnesota governor’s struggle to load his gun is what caught the attention of many social media users.

“Tim Walz looks as comfortable loading a gun as Kamala does answering basic questions,” said conservative commentator Buck Sexton in response to the video.

The Harris campaign is leaning heavily on Walz’s Midwestern roots in efforts to woo voters in critical Rust Belt states, where the Minnesota governor often touts his position as a gun owner and his history as a hunter while pushing for “general” gun laws.

Those hunting skills were called into question after a three-hour hunt, which CBS News reported resulted in the Minnesota governor not getting a single shot.

“Tim Walz says he’s a lifelong bird hunter, but this clearly proves he has no idea how to load or fire an automatic rifle,” said conservative analyst John Cardillo. “I shoot a lot of sports clay with both specialty cars but mostly subs. He’s a first-timer right here.”

“After watching Tim Walz try to carry a gun, I formally retract any criticism of him avoiding combat zones,” added opposition commentator Jason Robertson, referring to the “Stolen Valor” allegations Walz faced earlier in the campaign. “He’s a HERO. He’s so bad with a weapon that he saved American lives crossing the War Zone.”

“Tim Walz looks like he’s never pulled a gun,” said writer James Hirsen.

The video even drew comparisons to classic Looney Tunes character Elmer Fudd, who often wrestled with his gun in his pursuit of Bugs Bunny.

“This is Tim Walz hunting a wolf. Who did it better?” conservative commentator Ian Miles Cheong said alongside the photo comparing Walz to the classic character.

Harris’ campaign did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
