USDA flags ‘insects and slime’ at Boar’s Head factories, reports show

Department of Agriculture inspectors found unsanitary conditions including “insects and slime” at Boar’s Head facilities across from the now-shuttered facility linked to a deadly listeria outbreak last year, reports show.
The USDA issued a series of noncompliance reports linked to Boar’s Head following requests from multiple news outlets, the Associated Press reported Tuesday.
