The al-Hol camp in northeastern Syria has housed around 6,000 women and children, family members of Islamic State fighters who may have been kidnapped or killed. The camp is guarded by the US-backed militia that controls about a quarter of Syria. Holly Williams has stepped inside a dangerous camp, her future uncertain following the fall of former President Bashar al-Assad’s regime.
