Two were injured in a drone attack south of the Israeli port of Eilat
Two drones were launched near the southern Israeli port of Eilat on Wednesday night, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said.
One of the planes was intercepted when the other crashed into the port area and exploded, injuring two people and starting a fire, said IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari.
Hagari did not comment on reports that drones were launched by pro-Iranian forces in Iraq.
Since the war in Gaza began almost a year ago, there have been repeated attacks by Iran’s allies in the so-called “Axis of Resistance” against Israel. This includes the Iraqi army and the Houthi rebels in Yemen.
