Trump appoints former Fox News contributor Dr. Janette Nesheiwat as surgeon general
President-elect Trump has nominated a former Fox News medical contributor Dr. Janette Nesheiwat as a general surgeon.
In a statement on Friday evening, Trump said Dr. Nesheiwat is “a fierce advocate and strong advocate for preventive medicine and public health.”
