Travis Kelce on Taylor Swift’s new song, His Plans for the Chiefs Playoff Game
The Chiefs will host their most famous member in this weekend’s playoff game where they will face the Houston Texans.
Travis Kelce confirmed that girl Taylor Swift35, will be there when the Chiefs host the Texans at Arrowhead Stadium in the NFL Divisional round on Saturday, January 18.
“You know it, baby,” Kelce, 35, said Monday, January 13 on ESPN’s. The Pat McAfee Show. “You know it’s playoff, man.”
Swift was in all four of the Chiefs’ playoff games last season, including their Super Bowl victory over the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
“I want to let you know what living bettors do,” McAfee, 37, told Kelce. “They saw him enter that field, [they] immediately opened the phone like, ‘Yes, the Chiefs are going to win.’ That’s just a real feeling. “
The pop star attended seven of the Chiefs’ home games in the 2024-2025 season, with Kansas City winning all of them. He was last seen when the team beat the Texans on December 21, the Chiefs will face after Houston defeated the Los Angeles Chargers in the NFL Wild Card round on Sunday, January 12.
Kelce played in the Chiefs’ regular season finale on Jan. 5 against the Denver Broncos after Kansas City clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC, and told McAfee he’s itching to get back into action — while using a Swift song on the show.

“I feel angry,” Kelce said. “I feel 22 again, baby. Let’s go.”
McAfee then performed some of the lyrics to Swift’s “22,” from her 2012 album. Redwhile waving his arms forward.
Kelce smiled and said, “I was hoping you got the reference, kid.”
McAfee praised Kelce for being a “gentleman,” a stark contrast to all the “f—-boys” Swift has been around in the past. When asked if Swifties can expect any love songs about Kelce in the near future, the Swifties singer kept it cool.
“There might be a few, I don’t know,” Kelce said. “There may be a few.”
When McAfee asked if “anyone has heard,” Kelce laughed and said, “You know I’m not going to say any of that.”
“I’ll never agree, but I’m here to support you,” Kelce added. “I’m here to see where it can go, you know what I mean?”
McAfee, a former champion of the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts, was also surprised to see the game The Eras Tour at Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium in November 2024. Kelce, who attended the third and final Indianapolis exhibition, was in full agreement.
“I thought European crowds were crazy, but I’ll tell you what, man. Lucas Oil, I got to go on the last night there at Indy, and they were lit,” Kelce recalled happily. “They were going nuts. I’ve seen this thing move when the Colts play, maybe that thing moves a lot. “
The Chiefs will face the Texans in the NFL Divisional playoff round on Saturday, January 18 at 4:30 pm ET on ESPN.
