Top remote work companies of 2025 revealed some pay more than $100,000

Some job seekers in 2025 may be looking for remote positions, and a recently released report from FlexJobs identified the companies that were the biggest contributors to that provision.

The flexible job posting site ranked Working Solutions as No. 1 on its “Top 100 Companies to Watch for Remote Jobs in 2025” list released earlier this week.

The company, which also received first place last year, describes itself as a “communications center.”

FlexJobs determined its Working Solutions ranking with 99 other participating companies by looking at “more than 60,000 companies and their remote deployments” in 2024. Consider remote and hybrid roles as remote jobs.

Second on the list of “Top 100 Companies to Watch for Remote Work in 2025” after Working Solutions is Liveops, a contact center solutions company. Like Working Solutions, it held the same position as last year.

Meanwhile, UnitedHealth Group sought candidates to fill the third highest number of remote positions in 2024, earning the No. 3 spot among the top companies for remote work in 2025, according to the report. The healthcare giant is one of the few companies with the distinction of having appeared in the ranks “year after year since its inception in 2014,” FlexJobs said.

Number 6 went to Robert Half International, a staffing firm in California. Prime Therapeutics was ranked 7th followed by Transcom in 8th place, FlexJobs said.

The ranking placed BCD Travel in ninth place in 2025. The travel management company has more than 15,000 employees, according to its website.

FlexJobs also highlighted “remote job topics for companies to look out for.” They include an accountant, a software engineer, an account manager, a customer service representative and a project manager, among others.

Pay for such positions varies. Accountants saw a median of $79,880 a year in 2023, while customer service agents pulled in $39,680 and software engineers made $130,160, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

A separate ResumeTemplates survey released in late October found that 56% of American full-time workers indicated they were “already looking for a new job or planning to start one” by 2025.
