Oleksandr Usyk faces Tyson Fury in their rematch today at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event starts at 11:00 am ET / 5 pm UK time live on DAZN PPV, but the main event between joint heavyweight champion Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) and Fury will take place around 6: 00 pm ET.
Can Fury Defeat Usyk In Rematch?
The bulked-up 281-lb Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) will try to avenge his loss to Usyk from last May. This one could be interesting if it goes to the scorecards or if Fury gets hurt like last. Hopefully, there is no controversy like the previous battle between them.
11:00 am ET: Today’s Main Card is LIVE on DAZN PPV
Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury 2
Moses Itauma vs Demsey McKean – partner
Serhii Bohachuk vs. Ishmael Davis
Johnny Fisher vs. David Allen
Peter McGrail vs. Rhys Edwards
Isaac Lowe vs. Lee McGregor
Dylan Colin (vs. Daniel Lapin
Edgar Ramirez vs. Andrii Novytskyi
In the current match, which will be promoted by Queensberry, heavyweight contender Moses Itauma (10-0, 8 KOs) will face Demsey McKean (22-1, 14 KOs). It’s a fight with less riding than the fight between Serhii Bohachuk and Ishmael Davis, which is to finish the WBC junior middleweight title. That’s a better fight than the Itauma-McKean match.
19-year-old Itauma is being moved quickly to put him in a position to take over after the resignations of Fury and Usyk. He doesn’t look ready to fight for a world title or take over from the top guys. It is understandable why Itauma’s promoters put him in a co-feature to be seen because he is not seen outside of the UK.
