When it opens on June 30, the Zemi Miches All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton will be the first all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic under the Curio Collection by Hilton brand. It will also be Hilton’s 10th all-inclusive property in the Caribbean and Latin America.
Located approximately 60 miles from Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) in the coastal town of Miches, this 500-room resort overlooks the clear waters and sandy, white shores of secluded Playa Esmeralda.
“Guests can start planning their visit to Zemi Miches All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton, where we will delight them with the undiscovered, pristine beauty of the Dominican Republic and a new high level of all-inclusive vacations,” Manuela Fahringer. , the resort’s general manager, said in a press release. “Our resort is more than just a vacation destination, it’s an experience deeply rooted in Dominican culture that will come to life through gastronomy, programming and the environment.”
The design of the resort was inspired by the culture of the Taino people, who were historically indigenous to the Caribbean. Visitors can expect to see natural tones and textures around the minimalist design that allows the natural beauty of the landscape to take center stage. Visitors can participate in daily arts and cultural activities.
Rooms will feature earthy woods, stonework and sophisticated furniture. Of the 500 guest rooms, 123 are ground floor rooms with plunge pools that connect to one of the resort’s large pools, and 18 are private bungalows.
The resort is also home to 11 restaurants and bars with international cuisine inspired by the Caribbean, Thailand and the Amalfi Coast; children and youth club; a sprawling pool complex with a water park; a fitness center with a juice bar and fitness classes; and a spa that will have 11 treatment rooms, a salon and a sauna.
The opening of Zemi Miches will further strengthen the brand’s portfolio in the Caribbean. Hilton already has about 30 properties in the region and about 30 more in development, part of which will contribute to the company’s plans to multiply its portfolio in the Dominican Republic in the next few years.
