“My dad is hot and I mean it,” said Sara, 47, during the talk show on Wednesday, January 22. Alyssa Farah Griffin he replied, “Your father is hot.”
Sara doubled down, adding, “My dad is hot. He’s just him.”
The discussion came during the “Hot Topics” segment, where Watching raised hosts Jack SchlossbergX’s latest post where he compares New VanceVice President JD Vancehis grandmother’s wife, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
“True or false: Usha Vance is hotter than Jackie O,” wrote Schlossberg, 32. After receiving widespread criticism online for the post, the political journalist continued to take to the internet.

“I’m really a traitor. I called my grandmother frantically … then I lost it completely? Jesus,” he wrote. “This kid will do anything to get attention. Your grandfather would be ashamed. Seriously. Time to get a job.”
Joy Behar there seems to be a lot of thought on this topic.
“My grandmother, Antonia, her name was 60, I can’t tell if she was hot,” explained Behar, 82. “She never took off her apron, how would I know how hot it was?”
Sara, on the other hand, didn’t think there was anything wrong with the social media message.
“Even if it’s a family, it has eyes, though,” she said.
Sunny Hostin he went in again, and noticed that he also has a hot father.
“You have a hot dad,” Sara confirmed. (Hostin said some of her friends “always wanted to date” her dad.)
Sara then took the conversation back to her father.
“My friends, my whole life has been about my hot dad,” he continued, noting that Watching the producer Brian TetI find it strange. “I’m not blind. I’m not attracted to him, he’s just hot. I see him,” he continued.
Then he went into detail, remembering a past time with a friend.
“We’d go up to my yard and my dad was mowing the lawn and shirtless,” Sara recalled. “My friend Emily was like, ‘Oh my God, who’s mowing your lawn?’ And I said, ‘This is my father!'”
Haines’ father is well known among Watching fans – Dick appeared on the “Behind the Table” podcast in October 2024 to talk about his daughter.
“I had a different idea of work [for Sara],” he admitted, noting that he and his wife Sandy Haines thought Sara would become a comedian. “I laugh at others [her jokes].”
