The latest leader of Apple Tim Cook is expected to meet with Trump before his second term: the report

Apple CEO Tim Cook is expected to be the latest tech industry leader to meet with President-elect Trump less than a month before his second term in office.
Cook will dine with Trump at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, on Friday, the New York Times reported, citing sources.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Google CEO Sundar Pichai have already met with Trump, and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is expected to meet with him next week as the tech moguls seek to cut ties with the incoming administration.
Cook, who had a better relationship with Trump than other tech leaders like Bezos during his first term, was quick to praise Trump after he won the election last month.

“Congratulations to President Trump on your victory!” Cook wrote about X on Nov. 6, the day after the election. “We look forward to working with you and your administration to help ensure that the United States continues to lead and is fueled by creativity, innovation, and creativity.”

FOX Business has reached out to Apple and Trump’s transition team for comment on the meeting.
Trump said on the “PBD Podcast” last month that he would not let European regulators “use our companies” after Cook called him, saying Apple had been fined $2 billion for its App Store anti-competitive behavior.
“That’s not going to happen,” Trump told Cook.

Cook and Trump sometimes spoke by phone during his first term.
Amazon CEO Bezos and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman are expected to donate $1 million to Trump’s opening fund. Meta has already given $1 million to the fund.
So far, the technology industry leader closest to Trump is the owner of SpaceX, Tesla and X Elon Musk, who endorsed Trump in July after his assassination attempt and has been by his side many times since then.

Trump also tapped Musk to co-chair the newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
