The Iconic Sci-Fi Drama’s Main Character Was Almost a Guest Star

Ben Linus was taken by What is lost the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815, who keep him locked up in the house for fear that he is one of the dangerous “others” on the island. Insisting that his name is Henry Gale and that his hot air balloon crashed on the island, some of the survivors want to believe him, while others are very skeptical.
For four episodes, viewers at home watched and waited to find out if Henry Gale was telling the truth or not. Michael Emerson’s portrayal of this confusing character kept the audience in suspense and waiting for more. Even if you want to believe him, the evil glint in his eye and the menacing expression on his face let you know he’s hiding something.
Of course, during his fourth appearance (probably because the showrunners changed his story), we learn that the actor made up his own story. As we know he is one of the others, it wouldn’t be until the end of Season 2 that we will know that he is Ben Linus, the leader of the “others” who appear. It is lost.
