The Golden Bachelorette’s Joan Names Her Season’s Most Stylish Man

Joan Vassos there was a group of stylish men The Golden Bachelorette – but one in particular stood out.
“We had a good style. I have to tell you,” Vassos, 61, said Us Weekly in his cover story. “Gary [Levingston] he was funny. She has really good style and isn’t afraid to wear something bold,” she added, noting that she rocks everything from gold jackets and brown blazers to bright red polos.
Levingston isn’t the only one with a sharp sense of fashion in season 1 of The Golden Bachelorette. Vassos – who gets some of her fashion inspiration from the actress Jane Fonda – a keen sense of style includes shimmering glittery dresses, seductive leather hats, sheer and silky ensembles and more.
“I love having a stylist,” Vassos, 61, admits Us. “If I could have anything in my life for the rest of my life, this would be it Cary Fetman.”

Vassos’ “favorite” dress that Fetman used her magic on was the Alice + Olivia black leather dress, which she wore during the rose ceremony. “It’s very beautiful. I love that dress,” she recalled Us.
The sheer leather Retha Strapless Vegan & Sequined Gown ($695) featured a hip high bodice covered in sheer lace that cascaded down a delicate train. Vassos paired the strapless look with a crystal choker and chunky ring.

Another fashion moment Vassos still focuses on is the Zimmermann Natura Belted Mini Dress ($1075) she wore on a Las Vegas date with Pascal Ibgui, and her night 1 dress, a Randi Rahm Nude Lolita dress. The glamorous getup features a plunging neckline, a crystal-embellished silhouette and a golden cape.
“You couldn’t see the details, but it was covered in beautiful crystals,” praised Vassos. “I can’t even describe the dress. It was probably the best thing I’ve ever had in my life. I felt like a princess.”
Elsewhere during her season, airing Wednesdays on ABC at 8 pm EST, Vassos had a real princess moment when she wore her viral Amarra Cinderella dress during a date at Disneyland.
“I felt a little pressure when I put it in and when I got out,” Vassos admitted. Us. “But when you get out of Disneyland, you look normal because people think you’re Cinderella.”
