The final season of the Suicide Squad game comes less than a year after its launch

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League it only came out in February, but the show’s final season, which starts tomorrow, will be its last. Season 4 Episode 7 premiered on Tuesday, and Episode 8, which is scheduled to air on January 14, 2025, “will serve as the final episode of the season. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League,” developer Rocksteady announced on Monday.

After the final content is released, the game will still be available to play online, according to the WB Games FAQ. But the game also gets an offline mode tomorrow – which was previously announced, or without a specific date beyond “2024” – which will allow you to play the main story and all the content of the seasonal story machines without an Internet connection.

The game has had a troubled history. The game was originally scheduled for release in 2022 before being delayed multiple times. And a very unsuccessful launch – in our review, we said that the game “hides its absurd personality under a generic shooter” – caused Warner Bros. Discovery announced in May that it would take a $200 million loss on the game.
