The Delano Miami Beach will reopen in late 2025
One of the hotels that put the hotel lifestyle on the map is slated for a renovation in Miami Beach late next year.
The long-awaited renovation of the Delano Miami Beach will take center stage in the city’s hotel scene next year. The extensive renovation will result in the transformation of 171 guest rooms and suites, including Bungalow and Penthouse suites. Guests will enjoy the hotel’s “Apple a Day” service, which will serve a selection of delicacies in apple-shaped glass vessels.
Along with views of the Miami skyline and Atlantic Ocean, the new Delano Miami Beach will feature four restaurants and bars, including the hotel’s revamped Rose Bar. The return of the Delano also means the revival of the hotel’s popular ground floor swimming pool, beachside entertainment area and fourth floor pool.
While the Delano Miami Beach is an art deco building that has been around since 1947, it wasn’t until Ian Schrager and designer Philippe Starck teamed up to open the property as the Delano in 1995 that it became a see-and-be-seen lobby. region. The Delano, now part of Accor’s Ennismore hotel arm, closed at the height of the pandemic but is now part of a growing global hotel chain.
“Over the past 30 years, Delano has ignited the Miami landscape and redefined the urban experience,” said Sharan Pasricha, founder and CEO of Ennismore, in a statement. “From the Rose Bar to the pool – it was the place to be, a playground for international flights seeking great insight.”
Earlier this year, Ennismore partnered with real estate investor Cain to reopen the iconic Delano in Miami Beach and expand the brand globally. As part of the deal, Cain now has a minority stake in the Delano brand.

“Today, together with Cain, we continue the iconic Delano story, writing a new chapter in the brand’s journey, not only with the grand opening of Delano Dubai this month but with the reopening of the brand’s home, Miami Beach,” added Pasricha. “We can’t wait for guests, new and existing, to rediscover Delano Miami Beach.”
Maison Delano – one of TPG’s flagship hotels that opened last year – is the brand’s Paris offering, while the new 251-room Delano Dubai fronts the Persian Gulf. The Delano Miami Beach is returning to the US for the brand, which closed its Las Vegas location earlier this year amid MGM Resorts partnering with Marriott International to open a W Hotel at its location.
