Terence Crawford Shows Interest In Conor McGregor Fight

Terence Crawford sent a message to former UFC champion Conor McGregor on social media that he is “getting back on the mat.”

Crawford, 37, and McGregor are reported to have recently discussed the issue of two fights, one in the boxing ring and one in MMA. However, Crawford rejected the deal, choosing not to pursue it despite the huge money these two fights would bring.
Now, Crawford may have changed his mind after thinking it over. In his social media post, he informed billionaire McGregor, 36, that he was back. [wrestling] mat, working out.
Crawford likely realizes how much dough he can make fighting McGregor and likes that idea more than risking his neck against the smallest 154-pounders for less money in boxing. McGregor has not finished in MMA since 2021, losing his last two fights.
He has not won a fight in this game since 2020, and some believe that McGregor has lost his hunger due to the wealth he accumulated in his fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr in 2017.
Crawford would make less money fighting McGregor than Mayweather did. He reportedly made $280 million, but this is when McGregor is at the height of his fame. McGregor is now considered a businessman.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, McGregor’s wealth is estimated at $200 million. If he fights Crawford, that could be a big jump, especially if the Saudis show interest in sponsoring those two fights.

If Crawford sticks to boxing, he will likely lose to one of the 154-lb fighters, such as Sebastian Fundora or Tim Tszyu. He did not win his junior middleweight debut on August 3 against Israel Madrimov.
