Teddy Mellencamp and an unmarried husband Edwin Arroyave separated about two weeks earlier The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum filed for divorce on November 1.
In court papers filed Nov. 1 and obtained by Us WeeklyMellencamp, 43, listed the date of their separation as October 20. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

“I always say that life and pain are inseparable,” he wrote on Instagram. “Seeing @teddimellencamp embrace her pain and use it for the best last night as she accepted the @curemelanoma gala, was a great reminder of what she’s capable of. His story has already saved lives. And I couldn’t be prouder that you will continue to save more.
He concluded, “I love you, Teds. (So much so that I missed the Rams game being there 🤣).”
Mellencamp later broke the news of their split via her Instagram on Saturday, November 2. “After much care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,” Mellencamp wrote. “My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken for their privacy and health throughout this new chapter.”

“Making a public statement is not something I wanted to do, but in an effort to protect my family from unnecessary speculation and rumours, I felt comfortable, honest and vulnerable was the best way forward,” he wrote.

Alongside a selfie of the car with the children, Arroyave wrote on his Instagram Story on Sunday, November 3, “I am bound to the Church by these beautiful souls.” He put the post Tori Kelly‘s “Never Alone.”
Arroyave also suggested that she is going through a “dark period” while uploading a photo of a hot yoga session. “You can’t always be inspired or motivated. This is where traditions and customs come in,” he wrote on his Instagram Story. “Having good manners is what will get you through your dark days. It’s when you’re under pressure that your true character comes out.”
