Swift, 34, went out with a boyfriend Travis Kelce in New York City on Saturday, where she carried a Mirror Snake Shoulder Bag by Roberto Cavalli. Black leather bag with gold chainlink strap and mirror “RC” monogram logo. The letter “Cs” is made to look like snakes. Of course, Swifties famously associated amphibians with Swift’s 2017 album Reputation.
Fans quickly took to social media, speculating that the snake-themed bag was an Easter egg on Swift’s “Taylor’s Version” of the album. (The pop star has re-recorded most of his previous LPs following drama with former label Big Machine Records; only Reputation and debut Taylor Swift.)
Narrator: People would not be cool. They couldn’t stay calm. ChaoSsSsSsss,” one X user wrote on Saturday.
Another added, “This is the weirdest Easter egg I’ve ever seen.” At this point, he’s treading hard.”
Swift paired a handbag with a gold velvet corset and mini skirt from Annie’s Ibiza, accessorized with gold jewelry. Kelce, 35, opted for a blue polo shirt and khaki pants.
Swift did not reveal when Reputation (Taylor’s Version) will be released, but he promised that the vault tracks are “on fire.”
“It’s a goth-punk era of feminist outrage at the burning of the entire society,” Swift teased in TIME in his 2023 Person of the Year profile. “I think a lot of people see it and they’re like, ‘Sick snakes and strobe lights.’

Gotham Images/GCHe continued, “I collect horcruxes [with all of my rerecordings]. I collect endless stones. Gandalf’s voice is in my head every time I pull out a new one. For me, it’s a movie now.”
While Swift remains shy Reputation (Taylor’s Version)fans have discovered that his latest clothes are sending clues. For example, at Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs season opener in September, Swift rocked thigh-high, maroon Giuseppe Zanotti boots similar to the ones she wore in her “Look What You Made Me Do” music video.
