Taylor Swift Celebrates Winning Apple Music’s Most Streamed Album
Taylor Swift pays tribute to his fans after winning Apple Music’s Most Streamed Album of the Year for his latest album, Ministry of Victimized Poets.
“Ahhhhhh thank you for listening to my music and TTPD so much!!!! You, the fans, did it Ministry of Victimized Poets TOP STREAMING ALBUM of the Year on @applemusic!!!” Swift, 34, wrote via Instagram Story on Tuesday, December 3.
Apple Music Replay announced Tuesday that Swift’s TTPD was the most streamed album of 2024.
A few months after announcing her 11th album at the Grammys in February, Swift has released TTPD in April. In the first week of its release, TTPD amassed 2.6 million equivalent album sales with 1.9 million traditional album sales (including digital downloads, CDs, vinyl LPs and cassettes).
TTPD had the third biggest sales week of all time, sitting behind ‘NSYNC’s No strings attached (2.4 million) and Adele’s 25 (3.37 million) in terms of most albums sold in one week.
At the time, Swift wrote that her “mind is awake,” adding, “IS SHE REALLY SHAMED? Thanks for listening, streaming, and welcoming Poets suffer in your life. Feeling completely overwhelmed.”
