Tim Bradley says Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis’ new look is a sign he “doesn’t give a f***” about what people think of him. Bradley says Tank is looking “real happiness”see that he is positive because he feels he knows who he is now.
Leaked image of the WBA lightweight champion, Tank (30-0, 28 KOs) showed him lying on a bean bag chair with his long hair straightened, possibly pomaded, and appearing to have makeup on his eyes. Not sure if it was eyeshadow or mascara.
“Zesty” & No problem
This is considered bad for Gervonta’s next opponent, Lamont Roach, because he will knock him out when they fight on March 1 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Tim doesn’t mention how Tank’s new nonchalant attitude about his appearance ties into taking it out on Roach because it’s not like he was talking bad about him. If anything, he seems grateful for the payday.
The Power of Wealth
Tank is rich, and like most rich people, they don’t care what people think of them. They no longer live in the real world because of their wealth. If you have the kind of great wealth that Tank Davis has, it is to be free from the need to care about the judgment of others.
“He has that photo that leaked and he looks really happy [femine] and not give a f***. I’m trying to tell you all. My person is on a new level,” said Tim Bradley on social media, in response to a photo of WBA lightweight champion, Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis, showing off his new hair and style.
“‘We are at a new level. I’m on a new level.’ Yes, my friend [Tank] you are on a new level because you know who you are. There is power in knowing who you are. Most people don’t know who the hell they are. They think they are who they are, but they really don’t know who they are.
“It takes time to find out. We are always evolving as a human being. We are always changing, but now you know. Tank knows now. That’s why he doesn’t give. To have that strength and not give up. Tank has that super power,” Bradley said of Gervonta’s new look.

There are no pictures of Tank’s new hair and eye wear since then. It’s hard to tell if the new look is a sign of Davis’ improvement or attitude that day. If we see him always like that, we can conclude that he is “flexible,” as Bradley said.
“He doesn’t just say. A tank will be a Tank. “Tank will do what Tank will do,” said Bradley. “Whether he looks hot or notyou know who you are. There is great power in that. Guess who’s going to pull that off? You’re going to take that out of Lamont Roach.
“I feel for Roach. He’s a good fighter, but I’m telling you. This Tank right here is different. It’s something different, man. Have you seen the weight? A man [Gervonta] he can fight tomorrow. Dude can fight today. Dude can fight anytime.
“There are still a few weeks left. There are still a few months left in the fight. I’m telling you you’re locked in,” said Bradley.
I don’t see how Tank is going to treat Roach any differently than he did when the fight was signed. Bradley really reaches out with his ideas. War is not the same and always has been.
The weight of the tank is a real thing. He looks like he’s close to the 135 lb limit right now, which means he could easily drop down to 130 or 126 to take on the top guys in those divisions. Naoya Inoue is the fighter that fans want to see Tank fight, and that match is possible.
