WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. Scoring wasn’t an issue this past weekend in West Lafayette. After Purdue got hammered 66-9 on the gridiron against Notre Dame on Saturday, the Boilers football team took the diamond less than 24 hours later and produced 15 runs in the first nine innings. Louisville did the same, ending up tied after nine. And like most fall scrimmages, there was bonus baseball in the other six innings with the teams combining for four runs to finish tied 17-17.
