“He was discharged last night and we got home early in the morning [rough] 3 hr ride home to him as the medicine was wearing off and because he was moving he was bleeding badly with his clothes, I can’t handle the fact that he was only wearing a hospital gown, all his clothes were in the fields,” he wrote on Facebook on Saturday. November 16.
“We got him home and I was able to change and clean clothes and pack even though he’s not an easy patient and give him Motrin.”
He continued, “I’m not sure if I was asleep bc I was worried about him as he was but hearing him snoring was music to my ears.” The outfit is owned as of now – it will change again soon – I’m posting a picture of his shirt just so you can see how lucky he was. Any higher or lower would be detrimental.”

Misty added that she is “grateful” for all the messages, calls and prayers they have received during her recovery.
“He definitely has a lot to say and when he is able to, I will ask him to make a video with his words,” he said. “He knows that he has a way with words and he knows that he will not only have a song to write but the whole album of this accident. Thank you all again.”
Alongside the message, Misty shared a photo of a Sundance shirt with a bullet pole. “There is no picture [sic] graphic but if you have a weak stomach don’t click and blow up the picture to see the bullet hole,” he wrote.
One day news broke that Sundance was shot “in the middle” and was taken to hospital by helicopter. In an update posted later that day, Misty clarified the accident.

“It was not his hunting rifle and no one shot him,” he wrote on Friday, November 15. “He was getting out of the car trying to grab his 22 when he grabbed the 22 and they came out of its box and hit the outside. of the Jeep just left.”
He continued, “Sundance said it happened quickly and he saw the bullet come out. I thought he called 911 he didn’t – he put his hands in his pocket to get the phone immediately after the crash but the phone wasn’t covered in blood so he went down the freeway to flag down a car. Help. 10 cars later someone pulled over and called 911.”
Sundance competed in season 11 of Voiceas part of the coach Blake SheltonThe group. He finally won the season.
