Steelers legends endorse Kamala Harris ahead of Trump’s appearance at game vs Jets
Ahead of Donald Trump’s appearance at the Pittsburgh Steelers game on Sunday, two veterans, and the family of one, raised the bar for his rivals.
Jerome Bettis, “Mean” Joe Greene and the family of the late Franco Harris all publicly endorsed Democrat Kamala Harris on Sunday.

“And it’s time to elect a leader who will fight for us. Someone who will roll up their sleeves and get the job done. Not just complain about it in a vacuum. There’s only one person who’s right in this race. That’s the bill: Vice President Kamala Harris.”
The family of Franco Harris, the late running back, added, “Hard work and integrity are the foundation of Western Pennsylvania and are values my father instilled in me. He taught me that true greatness is achieved by being part of a team and that leadership is defined by the actions taken to help the whole team succeed. I can’t be more honored to praise Vice President Kamala Harris because she shares and this is what my father stood for: improving education, creating good jobs, supporting labor unions and making sure everyone gets a fair shake.”

BROWNS’ DESHAUN WATSON RELEASED WITH SIGNIFICANT ACHILLES INJURY
Trump held a rally near Latrobe, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, the home of golfer Arnold Palmer. Former Steelers stars Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell attended the meeting, and are expected to be with Trump on Sunday night.
The Steelers released a statement on Saturday announcing the new security agreements and warning fans about possible delays.
“With former President Trump expected to attend Sunday night’s game as a solo guest, we are working with the Secret Service and local authorities to ensure the safety and security of all our fans,” the statement said. “As usual, we will work to make the fan experience the same as it always is at all Steelers home games at Acrisure Stadium.

Trump last attended a major football game on September 28 at the University of Alabama to watch the Crimson Tide take on the Georgia Bulldogs. His presence at the game was met with chants of “USA!”
