Sophia Loren’s Granddaughter Lucia Visits Le Bal: See Her Dress

18 years old Lucia Ponti made her grand debut at Le Bal in Paris, France. The event was held at the famous Shangri-la hotel.
According to a social media statement, football strives to celebrate “beauty, female empowerment and harmony between débutantes and cavaliers from around the world.”
Ponti is the daughter of Sasha Alexander again Edoardo Ponti — and the granddaughter of the famous Italian actress Sophia Loren.
Lucia attended the famous Debutante ball on Saturday, November 30, and said that her grandmother greatly inspired her fashion sense.
“My grandmother always believed in timeless beauty and the importance of wearing something that reflects your true identity,” said Ponti. Hello! in an interview published on Monday, November 25. “Growing up, she taught me the importance of simplifying things, tailoring, and always adding a different touch to your outfit.”
Ponti added that “Loren’s wardrobe was full of pieces that told a story, and I carry that idea with me.”
For this event, Ponti chose a dress from an Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani – his grandmother’s star friend.
The beautiful gown features lace and a striped, vintage-style design. She wore a diamond and emerald necklace.
“I usually go to buy clothes or clothes that make me feel confident but also comfortable to wear,” said Ponti. Hello!. “I looked at some of the dresses that were featured at Le Bal over the years, and they all represented the girls well. I was hoping to find a dress that would do the same for me.”
Ponti grew up in Los Angeles, California, but currently attends Brown University, where she studies art history and English.
Loren, now 90 years old, currently lives in Geneva, Switzerland.
“My grandmother and I are very close,” said Ponti Hello!. “We visit him regularly in Geneva and he comes to visit us in LA as well. I love him very much and despite the distance, we spend a lot of time together.”
She also recalled childhood memories of her grandmother – and her wardrobe.

“When I was a little girl, I used to enter my room covered in pieces of hair, jewelry and coats, and at that time I was amazed at the transformation that went through my room every time he visited,” said Ponti.
