Awards season always starts with the Golden Globes – and 2025 is no exception.
Although the awards show is still considered “Hollywood’s Party of the Year,” things have changed quite a bit over the past 25 years. The 2000 Golden Globes featured couples who broke up in dresses that are considered classic.
As the Hollywood Foreign Press Association handed out trophies at the 57th Golden Globes on January 23, 2000, HBO celebrated the achievement Sex and the City again The Sopranos, Denzel Washington again Hilary Swank it received great acclaim, and the fledgling Pixar proved its mettle.
