Salesforce CEO slams VP Harris for lack of TIME interview

Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff on Sunday criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for not sitting in an interview with Time magazine since she was nominated for the Democratic presidential nomination this summer.

Benioff, who also owns Time, has been at loggerheads with Harris for repeatedly refusing the company’s requests to discuss his policy positions and national plans if he wins the presidency in November.

“Despite multiple requests, TIME was not allowed to interview Kamala Harris—unlike all other presidential candidates,” Benioff wrote in the X post. #TrustMatters #TransparencyMatters #Leadership”

In the following post, Benioff posted an excerpt from a Time story about the type of president Harris would be commenting on, “Harris has declined repeated requests for an interview for this story. In contrast, Trump spoke about his policy views with a TIME reporter for 90 minutes in two interviews that Biden spoke and TIME the same length before exiting the race.

Benioff’s criticism of Harris comes as he has raised his profile media appearances in the past weeks.

Harris sat down for an interview with “60 Minutes” that aired on Oct. 7, and did friendly interviews with ABC’s “The View,” Stephen Colbert and Howard Stern on Oct. 8. A day later, as Hurricane Milton battered Florida, Harris did separate interviews with CNN and The Weather Channel.

A Fox News Digital analysis found that in the time since Harris named Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as his running mate in August, he and Walz have held at least 41 off-the-record interviews since Oct. 14.

In contrast, former president Trump and Seni. JD Vance, R-Ohio, conducted at least 76 interviews during that time.
