In season 6, Richert returned as a series regular- but now, Harvey was Sabrina’s ex who had moved on to Morgan’s roommate.Elisa Donovan). While Richert says he’s excited to be back, the first impression sounds painful.

“It’s strange because you do something for a long time, day after day. Then [they brought me back]but it was like, here and there,” he explained. “You’re almost defeated – your rhythm is a little off. But it was still amazing. It’s still fun.”

Hart, 48, told Us that there were indeed “character changes” over the course of the show’s seven seasons, but it “made sense” that Harvey eventually returned to Sabrina’s life. The two continued to be good friends – as Harvey was the only mortal who knew Sabrina’s secret – eventually finding a way to get back together, romantically speaking, in the series finale.

“It made sense, didn’t it? [Nate came back]and it just felt like, ‘Yeah, this is the way it’s supposed to be,'” Hart said. Usadding, “No offense to David Lasher!”

“Obviously they’re going to have kids and one of them is going to have to be a witch at some point,” Richert said as Hart nodded. Richert also noted that it is possible that Harvey will suffer the lasting effects of Sabrina casting so many spells – especially those severe amnesia spells – for him.

“I mean I don’t know how that works! They made that memory [of his] go multiple times,” he joked. “Like, at some point, that has to have a lasting effect and mess with you a little, right?”

While Harvey was on his (temporary) exit in season 5, other new characters were on the way to Sabrina’s college years. Donovan again Soleil Moon Fryewho played Morgan and Roxy, respectively, said they were given a warm reception when they joined the cast from ABC to UPN.

“It was fun. because they made it like a family,” said Frye, perhaps best known as a child star Punky Brewster, he told us. “And we already knew each other by being at sound levels. We were friends. Which was always good.”

“It was really a family,” he continued. “When we were away, we were staying at Melissa’s house.”

Sabrina was wrapped up more than two decades ago, but that sense of family is still there. Now, however, the cast is joined by legions of loyal fans who can connect with them at places like 90s Con.
