Bill Gates gave $50 million to support Kamala Harris for president: report

Bill Gates said he has privately donated around 50 million dollars to a non-profit organization supporting Kamala Harris, the New York Times reported, citing three people briefed on the matter.

The Microsoft founder’s contribution to Future Forward, Harris’s largest outside fundraising group, was intended to remain low, the outlet reported.

Gates has never publicly endorsed a presidential candidate before, but he had praised Harris when he was the Democratic nominee, saying it was “great” to have a young candidate running.
