Rock Band That Defines Psychedelic Music Sells All Song Rights To Sony For Hundreds Of Millions

Acquiring the rights to Pink Floyd’s recorded music, Sony added another feather to their classic music catalog.

Sony has been on a vintage music buying spree for the past few years, getting the catalogs of Queen, Bob Dylan, and Bruce Springsteen under its umbrella and building a vintage music empire.

The deal between Pink Floyd and Sony will allow licensing of their entire catalog and movie, TV, and theatrical deals on their work, with Sony making money from the streaming service and sales.
