Ray J Talks Diddy’s ‘Unfortunate’ Arrest

“We have never seen this thing that is said and the things that people find, like, I have never entered the rooms that people are talking about, and I did not know that they existed,” said Ray J on Friday. “And a lot of people in the industry would agree with me in that sense.”

He continued, “We must use it as a moment to show, not to criticize, but to find a better way to move forward as leaders, people of this culture we are in right now.” (Us Weekly (reached out to Ray J for additional comment.)

Diddy denied the charges. His lawyer released a statement earlier this week, saying the investigation was part of an “unfair prosecution.”

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is the unfair prosecution of Mr. Combs is the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney. Marc Agnifilo he told Us Weekly in the statement. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, loving his children and working to uplift the Black community.”

Agnifilo added, “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. What he admires Mr. Combs has been cooperating with the investigation and voluntarily moved to New York last week to await the charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the actions of an innocent man who has nothing to hide, and he is looking forward to clearing his name in court.”
