Before viewing A barbarianI had the luxury of missing out on all the promotional posters, trailers, and YouTube reactions to the film. I didn’t know anything about the movie, who made it, or who was in it before a friend told me it premiered at Max.
Not knowing what to expect, my friend and I threw on the movie, and after a few minutes, we were left with our jaws on the floor.
I immediately fell in love with the film’s creative story structure and world-building, and found myself in love after seeing Zach Cregger’s name appear in the closing credits.
