People import their disabled tweets into Bluesky
No, babe, your post on X is there so it’s funny! You must completely repost anything you’ve tweeted in the past four years to the new site by 2024. Everyone will love that!
A post from the unofficial “Bluesky Support” account says otherwise: “Stop importing your old tweets! They also asked you for the first time!”
Some Bluesky users read too much into the mere idea of importing old tweets into a new space, saying it’s a sign of narcissism or that people who choose to import their old tweets live in fear of the unknown. Although we should all take a deep breath and realize that nothing is that deep, it seems to be a habit.

One Bluesky user posted, “Stop uploading your old tweets from 2015. No one needs to read your jokes about Taken 3, and I’m trying to post!”
“In theory I support people importing their old tweets but it should only allow you to import absolute bangers. I ONLY want that shit,” one user wrote, appropriately.
“Instead of importing my old tweets, I’ll be posting your old bangers as if they were mine,” one user said.
Will Bluesky train gen AI with your post? Competitor X has raised concerns.
If you decide to make a move against the haters, you can import all your old tweets – except for retweets, replies, and reposts – by using the Porto Chrome extension.
