Golden Boy Promotions manager Oscar De La Hoya says he prefers Ryan Garcia to forget the rematch with Devin Haney and wants him to fight WBO light welterweight champion Teofimo Lopez instead.

With Ryan’s popularity and massive following on social media, a clash between him and Teofimo (21-1, 13 KOs) will bring in a lot of pay-per-view buys on DAZN.

No Rematching Required

It would be a match that would attract fans all over the world because Teofimo is still considered undefeated in the eyes of many people because his defeat by George Kambosos Jr was a narrow one that could have happened either way. At that time Teo was sick and injured.
