Oscar De La Hoya blasted manager Bill Haney on this week’s episode of Clapback Thursday, saying he interfered with his son Devin Haney’s career by arresting Ryan Garcia for battery after his loss last April in Brooklyn, New York.

Oscar says that the lawsuit and Devin’s decision to sit out the entire year made his loss worse. Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) would have bounced back from that loss by now if he would have gotten back in the ring instead of sitting around watching his defeat.
According to De La Hoya, Haney must win his fight with Jose Ramirez on May 2 to earn a rematch against Ryan in October.
