OpenAI is in the holiday spirit, it seems. The creator of ChatGPT has announced “12 Days of OpenAI,” a series of revelations that will be broadcast live at 10 am PT over the next 12 days. The first day of the event introduced ChatGPT Pro, OpenAI’s $200 per month subscription plan, and the full version of its “consultation” o1 model. While we don’t know what else to expect, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman says the company’s event will feature announcements ranging from new demos to product launches, as well as “stock stamps.” It’s possible we could see updates to its improved voice mode, or a public release date for its long-awaited Sora text-to-video generator, among other surprises.
