I’m a big fan of the New York Times Connections puzzle, I often prefer it to Wordle. And here’s my hot take: I actually like when the purple section gets really weird and chooses a topic like, “girls’ first names remove the letter,” or “1980s bands spelled backwards,” or something like that. I might not always get that section, at least not right away, but when I see it revealed, I give the puzzle makers a silent thumbs up for being weird enough. Well, that’s today’s advice, why do you ask?
