Ninja Slushi sold out at Best Buy in minutes, but stock elsewhere

Update: Nov. 15, 2024, 4:15 pm EST Slushi also went on sale at Best Buy as a Best Buy Drop at 11 a.m. and sold out within minutes. Still, it’s in stock on Ninja’s website and Macy’s, where you can buy it for $299.99.

At 11 am ET on Nov. 15, Best Buy also uploaded Ninja Slushi as Best Buy Drop (Drops is the best mobile app tab with a list of active items. to drop that week, which are usually high-end items like Slushi, or special deals). At around 11:03 am, the dreaded “inventory wanted” bar was at 100 percent – one of the fastest Drop sales we’ve ever seen.

The speed with which people moved to get their hands on Slushi in those three minutes paints a picture of Slushi being impossible to find in stock anywhere else. But this is not the case at all: As of November 15, Ninja Slushi is stocked on the Ninja websiteand Macy’s.

Given the times Ninja Slushi has sold since it came out in July, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Slushi stock at both locations dwindle over the next few days. And coming from someone who has been using Slushi regularly since the summer, I’m here to let you know that you won’t regret hitting “add to cart” right away. You will be overwhelmed with the joy of having Slushi possibilities at your fingertips whenever you want.

But as we know all too well, the whole “it’s getting dark at 5pm now” thing makes leaving the house the last thing on Earth we want to do, even if a fun drink or milkshake is waiting on the other side.

Ninja Slushi is a little treat, and the variety of its menu is what I love most about it. The five settings in Ninja Slushi are slush, spiked slush, frappé, milkshake, and frozen juice, so the possibilities are endless. You can mix up the frozen version of the orange juice you drink every morning or the protein shake you get after your workout, recreate the fancy drink you got on vacation in one go, bring to life a batch of ingredients you think will go well. together, or just pour soda and make a Coke slushie. Slushi takes about an hour to take things from liquid to ice, but it can keep your mix at that consistency for hours afterward.

Yes, you can pour soda, juice, or wine directly into the Slushi without other ingredients. What’s well documented here is that sugar is the primary fuel that makes a Slushie smooth – so whipping up a diet soda or seltzer without sugar requires having simple syrup or agave on hand. No, Slushi can’t make ice cream like Ninja Creami, although the milkshake preparation is close. Compared to the Creami that sits next to the Slushi on my counter, the Slushi is much quieter and requires much less prep work.

Granted, my Slushi consumption dropped a hot second after the hot weather margaritas subsided – but consumption picked up again when all the cool cold weather recipes started flowing. Recently, my friend and I made frozen apple cider mimosas, and next is a sugar cookie martini. For your convenience, many recipes such as frozen desserts are very possible with Ninja Creami. It retails at Best Buy for $219.99 compared to Slushi’s $299.99, so that’s an option as well.
