Nicole Kidman Shades Martin Scorsese For Lack Of Women In His Movies

Talking to Vanity Fair in a Q&A published on Wednesday, November 13, Kidman, 57, tossed Scorsese’s way about his history of writing films that focus heavily on male characters.
“I kept saying I wanted to work with him [Martin] Scorsese, if he makes a movie with women,” said Kidman.
Kidman didn’t elaborate, but it’s clear what he meant. Scorsese, 81, has been criticized in the past for not representing women in his work, since Goodfellas (1990) until The Wolf of Wall Street (2013).

“If the story doesn’t want it, it’s a waste of everyone’s time,” he replied.
