Nestle India Q2 preview: PAT likely to register 5% decline YoY; margins may shrink by 50bps

Nestle India, the country’s leading FMCG company will report its Q2 earnings on Thursday (October 17). According to Zee Business research, the consolidated PAT at the Maggi maker may decline by 5 percent year-on-year to Rs 865 crore compared to Rs 908 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s margins are expected to see an impact due to food inflation and input cost volatility.
The company’s revenue is seen to grow by 7 percent in the September quarter to Rs 5,387 crore. In the same quarter last year, the company reported a revenue of Rs 5,037 crore.
