Naughty Dog reveals the sci-fi game Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet

The world premiere of the Game Awards was Intergalactic: The Rogue Prophet. Developed by Naughty Dog, Intergalactic it’s a futuristic space opera with the kind of futuristic punk vibes it reminds me of Cowboy Bebop. The ratio is the same Intergalactic game director and Naughty Dog studio head Neil Druckmann stated on the game’s website that he plays a bounty hunter. Indeed, the trailer even featured an anime playing in the background reminding us that The Dirty Pair.

Set thousands of years in the future, Intergalactic puts players in the role of Jordan A. Mun, a dangerous bounty hunter who ends up stranded on Sempiria – a distant planet whose communication with the outside world was blacked out centuries ago. Jordan will have to use all his skills and ingenuity if he hopes to be the first in over 600 years to leave his cycle.

Tati Gabrielle, who played Prudence Night in Cool Adventures of Sabrina, stars like Jordan. Ironically, Gabrielle was part of the cast of another Naughty Dog project starring Jo Braddock in the drama What is not written the movie. There will also be comedian and actor Kumail Nanjiani making a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance as Bounty Jordan’s sequel. There is no release date yet, but the game is still in development for the PS5.
