Natalie Portman Is Not Worried About Ex Benjamin Millepied Moving On Soon
Natalie Portman she does not lose sleep because of her ex-husband Benjamin Millepiednew things of love.
“Natalie is not surprised that Benjamin has left because of how their relationship ended. He thought he would move on quickly,” revealed a source in the new publication Us Weekly.
Millepied, 47, was spotted kissing an unidentified woman in Paris on October 15. The PDA came seven months after the French dancer and Portman, 43, finalized their divorce in March. Us previously confirmed in August 2023 that Portman and Millepied had quietly separated after 11 years of marriage. The news of their separation came two months after it was widely reported that Millepied was dating a climate activist Camille Etienne.
“[Natalie] I hope Benjamin is happy,” the insider said, noting that Portman learned of the photos of Millepied locking lips with an unnamed woman shortly before they were made public last month.
A second source tells the story Us that Portman is unaffected by Millepied’s romantic choices.
“Benjamin’s dating life doesn’t really affect Natalie,” said a second insider. “He is very happy in his life right now and has been putting family and friends first.”
Portman previously expressed “thank you to my friends who always lift me up” while commemorating her birthday on Instagram in June.
In addition to focusing on her friendship, Portman also prioritizes herself and Millepied’s two children, son Aleph, 13, and daughter Amalia, 7. A source says Us that the former couple is “going through the motions” of reproduction.
“Everything is going well so far,” added the insider.

“Natalie is a confident person [again]”said an insider at the time, noting that the actor has an “easier step” and “more joy” in his eyes.

While an insider said Portman was “absolutely humiliated and crushed by Benjamin’s behavior,” another source said Portman “didn’t give up. [her marriage] easily.”
Natalie Portman has been romantically linked to several A-listers over the years. Portman talked about herself and Millepied’s children in a since-deleted post from May 2020 on Instagram.
“I am blessed with my children who have turned me into a mother and make me smile and laugh every day,” she wrote. “What makes me appreciate my mother even more is all the invisible things she does for me that I see now as I try to live in harmony with her fertility.”
