Glenn Thore has been on the case for his children’s marriage. With Hunter Thore in a serious relationship, she feels it’s time for them to take the next step and get married. So, she packs Babs Thore’s engagement ring and brings it on Whitney Thore’s 40th birthday trip to Spain.
I My Big Fat Sweet Life A cast member tells Whitney that being in Spain would be a good time for her brother to propose to Karen. He explains to his daughter that he brought Babs’ engagement ring just in case. He feels that he needs to prepare.
Whitney can’t believe that Glenn brought the wedding ring to Spain after she told him not to. He tells her that she should now keep the ring in her back pocket. However, he feels he should give Hunter the ring right now.
Whitney thinks her father “totally lost it” by trying to push the proposal timeline. He supports his brother in proposing to Karen. However, he believes that he should be in charge of planning, not his father.
Glenn Gives Hunter An Engagement Ring
Glenn walks up to Hunter and Karen and tells them, “What a great place to be in love.” He then gave his son a wedding ring. He tells his son that it is up to him to do it at the right time.

Hunter reveals that he loves Karen, and they talk about marriage “down the road.” But he doesn’t know if he will ask the question now or later. He wants to get the timeline on his terms. He feels that “the pressure is strong.”

Glenn Thore tells Hunter Thore during Whitney Thore’s 40th birthday dinner that it’s a good time to propose to Karen. So, he takes Karen aside and tells everyone that they will be back. However, Whitney tells everyone that she “has a ring in her pocket.”
I My Big Sweet Life star admits that he has been encouraging his son to take the next step. Glenn would be happy if his son proposed, as he feels that “having a ring on your hands” makes it easier.
Hunter admits that the trip to Spain made him realize how much he loves Karen. You want to propose, and having a ring helps. But he feels that they are going at the pace they want, so he needs to find a time that works well for both of them.
