Mindy Kaling Praises Meghan Markle’s Cooking: ‘She blew me out of the water’

The trailer for the new show dropped last week and it shows Meghan, 43, serving Kaling a tasty meal for herself once again. Prince HarryKitchen in Montecito, California.
“I was on my maternity leave and Meghan texted me and said, ‘Hey, do you want to come on my show … come to Montecito and I’ll cook for you?'” Kaling explained about her guest’s appearance during a red carpet interview. with Deadline Sunday, January 5, Golden Globes. “And I said, ‘Yeah, that sounds perfect. I’d love to do that.'”
The comedian said he considers himself a “good cook,” but Meghan “surprisingly blew me out of the water.”

While Meghan’s husband Harry, 40, was home while Kaling visited, he didn’t get to sample her cooking.
“I heard you’re actually a good cook,” she said. “He knows his way around the kitchen.”

The new series about Meghan’s life, which will premiere on Wednesday, January 15, “rethinks the genre of lifestyle shows” with Meghan in the lead “combining real and candid conversations with friends,” according to Netflix.
“I’ve always loved taking something ordinary and elevating it,” Meghan said in the trailer released on Thursday, January 2. “It’s amazing people who have moments that let them know I was thinking about them.”
Produced by Meghan herself, the former actress will offer “tips and tricks” for life in the upcoming eight-episode series, which will feature guest appearances from Kaling, Harry and former Meghan. Suits costar and friend Abigail Spencer.

Before the official announcement of this program, said the source Us Weekly in August 2024 that the series was set to be “picked up [Meghan] and the joy of life.” An inside source noted that he will teach viewers “the little things he’s learned about being a modern-day host.”
