Meghan Markle Breaks Instagram Fashion Rule: White Jeans in January
Meghan Markle does not follow the rules of fashion.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, returned to Instagram for the first time in nearly five years on Wednesday, January 2, to share a video of herself running barefoot on the beach.
In the clip shot by the husband Prince Harry, the former actress hit the beach in white skinny jeans — often considered “out of style” after Labor Day — rolled up at the cuffs, and a flowing white blouse. He crouched down in the sand and wrote “2025” with his finger before running away from the camera. Meghan wore her long hair down in a reel, with beachy kinks.
Meghan’s video marks her first post under the username @meghan, where she connects with fans and shares her projects. Meghan and Harry, 40, previously had a joint Instagram account, @sussexroyal, but have not updated it since March 2020.
Since her first post, Meghan has also shared a clip teasing her upcoming Netflix series, With love, Meghan. On the wheel, she was cooking in the kitchen, buying flowers and so on. His lifestyle show will premiere on January 15.
When Meghan isn’t enjoying days on the beach – or creating masterpieces in the kitchen – she’s busy showing off her great style at red carpet events.
Last month, she looked stunning in a black Oscar de la Renta gown at the Paley Honors Fall Gala in Beverly Hills. Her gown featured a strapless sweetheart neckline, a fitted silhouette, a knee-length skirt and a delicate train. Meghan topped off her look with black strappy heels, a diamond necklace and ring, and a gold bangle.
Meghan let her outfit speak for itself, wearing soft makeup including full brows, mascara and glossy lips. Her brunette locks were parted down the middle and twisted into an updo.
