Media representatives participate in online shopping at Iskaparate.com’s press launch

During the media presentation of Iskaparate.com, it stuck October 15, 2024of Overdough Restaurant at Ayala Malls Circuit, Makati, media representatives and industry partners had the opportunity to experience the platform firsthand through an online shopping demo led by a team from ConnectSys, EscapadeAn ecosystem provider.

The event, designed to present the features and benefits of Iskaparate, was an important moment for the platform as it officially entered the digital market. The demo provided a tour of the entire website, including product marketing, e-commerce operations, again purchase process activated using an e-gift certificate. Attendees engaged with the demo by navigating through an open platform experience about the platform’s overall functionality.

The event started with a warm video message from Iskaparate founder Joey Bermudez, sharing Iskaparate’s journey from having a community of 33 mom entrepreneurs to partnering with 3,000 fully vetted merchants. He highlighted, Iskaparate.com was born in the darkest days of the COVID pandemic when small and medium businesses lost their stores due to brutal closures. We then set up an online platform that will allow those entrepreneurs to start their businesses.”

Attendees included a mix of media professionals and industry partners eager to see how the platform can impact and change the landscape of digital commerce. micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the Philippines.
