Matt Damon Says Daughter Isabella Going To College Is ‘A Big Adjustment’

Matt Damon he is getting used to seeing off one of his daughters as she heads off to college.

Damon’s daughter Isabella18, is the latest coup after her half-sister Alexia Barroso26, left a few years ago. (Damon also shares Gia, 16, and Stella, 13, with wife Luciana Barroso, 48.)

The actor, 53, said that he and his family were still adjusting to the change when they interviewed him E! News New York on Thursday, September 19.

“We have a 26-year-old child, so we’ve been through this before, but it’s still a big change for us and her sister,” he said. “Home is different with one little person there. So, it’s a big change.”

“After my father died, we sat down [to Australia] four months and he went camping everywhere,” Damon told the outlet. “I think it’s because maybe he’s never been there, and it feels like a place I can go to remember my kids.”

Damon is often open about loving his role as a father, and has previously admitted that he was happy to take on the responsibility from the start.
