Mariah Carey Signs Rihanna’s Chest at Christmas Concert: ‘This Is Epic’

The “Lift Me Up” singer attended Carey’s last stop for him Mariah Carey’s Christmas Season visited the Barclays Center in New York City on Tuesday, December 17, and got the headliner to autograph her breast.
“I need a signature. Who has a Sharpie? Sign my tee!” Rihanna, 36, can be heard telling Carey, 55, as she walks through the crowd in a video circulating on social media.
Carey then wrote her first name with a red Sharpie on Rihanna’s breast. The Bajan singer took Carey’s microphone and announced to the audience, “Mariah Carey is signing my tee, y’all! This—it’s a milestone!” Rihanna then showed off her precious new autograph to the camera and the two stars hugged each other.
Tuesday’s final performance saw Carey return to the stage after coming down with the flu earlier this month. Carey was forced to cancel his Dec. 11 concert in Pittsburgh just hours before he was due to take the stage at PPG Paints Arena.
“Pittsburgh, I’m sorry to say, I came down with a cold. It breaks my heart that I unfortunately have to cancel tonight’s show. I love you all so much,” X wrote in the message.
Two days later, Carey canceled two more shows scheduled for Friday, December 13, and Sunday, December 15, respectively, in Newark, New Jersey, and Belmont Park, New York. “Newark and Belmont – I wish I had better news but unfortunately I’m still sick and have to cancel tonight and Sunday. I am very saddened by it and I appreciate your support. Love, MC,” shared X.
But on Monday, December 16, the star confirmed that he will perform on Tuesday at the Barclays Center. “Baby, thank you for making my Christmas day so special ❤️ I love singing with you every night, and I can’t wait to see you all tomorrow in Brooklyn for the last show of this tour,” she wrote on Instagram.
The Queen of Christmas is also celebrating her holiday classic, “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” which has reached 16 consecutive weeks at No. 1 Billboard The Hot 100, 30 years after its first release. The song’s run now includes Carey’s other hit, “One Sweet Day,” which featured Boyz II Men and hit No. 1 for 16 weeks between 1995 and 1996.
