Maha Kumbh Mela 2025: Helicopter ride under Rs 1,300? Few of the main attractions are in the main festival

Maha Kumbh Mela 2025: State-owned Pawan Hans is offering a special helicopter ride service for the 2025 mega Maha Kumbh Mela, scheduled to take place from January 13 to February 26. As part of the service, visitors will be able to enjoy a joyride for a helicopter for Rs 1,296. This special helicopter tour will operate for 7-8 minutes.

Pawan Hans is a Miniratna public sector employee (PSU).

Here are five things you should know about this special Maha Kumbh Mela helicopter tour:

  • The joyride, driven by Pawan Hans, will be available for Rs 1,296 per person. This marks a significant reduction from the earlier fixed amount of Rs 3,000 per person.
  • Uttar Pradesh Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh said each helicopter ride will take 7-8 minutes.
  • A helicopter ride will enable passengers to get an aerial view of the main event, according to the minister.
  • Where can you book? Booking for this special helicopter tour will be available online at the portal www.upstdc.co.in.
  • Service availability will depend on demand and weather conditions.

Some major attractions in 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela

Additionally, the UP government has also made arrangements related to water sports- and adventure sports-related activities on the occasion of Maha Kumbh.

A special drone exhibition will be organized from January 24 to January 26.

Another attraction of this festival is the water laser show.

Several prominent artists are scheduled to perform at the Maha Kumbh Mela, including singers Shankar Mahadevan and Mohit Chauhan.

Mahadevan will inaugurate the ‘Ganga pandal’ at the event, while Chauhan will perform on February 24.
